- The program (DupeDeDupe) does
not store or transmit any personal
information.
- The program does not share
any information generated, accessed,
or processed with any third party.
- No personal information
is required to run the program.

is collected while using the program.
- All files accessed by this program are used solely for the
purpose of identifying duplicates without regard for the type, format,
or charater of any file.
- The file dedupegui.ini
(configuration file) and dedupegui.deleted
(restore file) are created by the program in the same directory as the
program. These files remain local to the program and are for
convenience
only.
- The filename_ext_undo.bat
files that are created with each moved file are for convenience and
remain local to the
user's machine.
- No user data or personal
information is stored in the Windows
Registry of any machine.
Sharing Data with Third Parties
- No personal information
or user data is shared with any third
party.
Data Storage and Protection
- No personal information
is collected or stored.
- User data, such as duplicate files, are either moved to another
local folder on the user's machine or moved to the Recycle Bin on the
user's machine.
Tracking Tools
- The program does not use
any tracking tools.
- If you download the program from the Microsoft Store then
Microsoft would have a record - as it would for any download from the
Windows Store.
Opt-Out Clause
- There is no opt-out clause as there is nothing tracked by the
program that could be opted-out of and nothing stored that could be
referenced for an opt-out.
Process for Changes and Updates to the Policy

at any time.
- Updates to the Privacy Policy will be posted to williammailloux.github.io with a note in the Version Information section of the file indicating what has changed.
